"About the Research Center"

The Joint Reconstruction Research Center of Imam Khomeini Hospital is the first joint reconstruction research center in the country. Based on the decision made in the 280th session of the Council for the Development of Medical Sciences Universities, dated 2022/6/12 , the establishment of this center at Tehran University of Medical Sciences and Health Services was approved. This center acts as a comprehensive research hub in both basic and clinical sciences with the aim of advancing knowledge and technology in the field of orthopedics and improving the quality of life for patients. It accepts and reviews research proposals in the fields of basic, clinical, and applied research. The center, with its skilled and influential personnel in the healthcare system, executes relevant projects and has created an extensive network of collaborations with research centers, universities, and industries at both national and international levels. It strives to enhance research infrastructure, particularly in disease registry systems, and offers innovative solutions for the treatment of joint diseases to promote community health.
